I played with the live demo today. IMO, It's a BB 8900 with 3G. Has smaller buttons than the BB 9000. Browser loaded pages almost the same as the Tour on Verizon.

Is this phone noticeably more responsive than the 8900?  I like that it has 3G but its not a must have for me at the moment.

Its noticeably faster. Didn't experience any lag at all using my Uncle's BlackBerry Bold 9700. Also the trackpad is a welcome feature. IMO its way better than the trackball.

Just bought this Thursday night.  For the two days I've had it, I've loved it.  The keyboard is a little tighter than say the 8900 or the 8320 that I upgraded from, but the browser is speedy, and the 3G coverage is spot on where I'm at (30 mins out outside of Kansas City).  The visual voicemail is a nice touch, and I called 611 to add it.  They have to change your IMEI in the system to recognize it.  I would recommend this to anyone as an upgrade right now.

Any Questions?

Congrats on your new BlackBerry Bold 9700!
They don't have to change your IMEI. You can add it directly from www.my.t-mobile.com

Try downloading it from the BlackBerry App World.
IF you don't have BlackBerry App World download it here from your Bold 9700:
