How To Root Your Mytouch 3g =) & now Un ROOt YOUr mytouch 3g

i'm not understanding the spl part. do i have to flash a new spl before i install the rom? i'm coming from winmo, so this is all very new to me. i've read a bunch of guides including the 1 click method guide on android and me, and the wiki on xda, but i'm just not understanding a couple of things. just need a little guidance and i should be off and running.

i am going to try the 1 click method and in the guide on how to do that, there is no mention of flashing the spl and radio. do i need to flash a new spl and radio before installing this rom? i want to use cynogens stable ROM 4.04. appreciate the help for a newb

I just one clicked, and loaded...and I am working on my new video with the actually HTC HERO Rom...its amazing.  So much better than this one.

...I would love to root my phone, but knowing my luck, I would end up bricking it.

how do i root the my touch + ( mytouch 1.2 ) i have been tryin since i got it and there seems to be some kinda fix also i cant find any forum that would root the fender
