Tech Hotline / Re: got 3555? T-Mobile has this adaptor cable
« on: May 20, 2008, 08:59:40 am »
I'm confused.  You are saying that the 3555 will charge via the micro USB cable?  Which if thats the case, and you have any standard Motorla Mini-USB charging cable, you can purchase an adapter to go from mini to micro?

Sorry, I havn't read too much on the Bold yet, will it have HTML e-mail capabilities?  Also, will the browser be better - like Safari on the iPhone/iTouch is?

T-Mobile Services / Re: $9.99 unlimited email?
« on: May 19, 2008, 01:43:57 pm »
Its exactly what it sounds like, email service. It has no text or internet service, just email. Some people dont want our internet, cause its slow as hell, but want email, so now they dont have to pay as much to have it.
This is true.  Just to give more meat behind this post:)

ATT did this to customers that were roaming off of Dobson/Cellular One customers like 2 years ago.  They were letting them out of contract with no ETF fees.

Our dealership is on a fringe area, so I have a feeling that many of our customers will getting these letters.  I have an actually copy of the letter if anyone would like me to post it....

Good news to post for those unaware!  However, I have been with T-mobile since June 04 - and this has been avaliable since then.

It works great for the unwanted spam!!  My father and father-n-law has had problems with unwanted spam and this had resolved the issue.

As for you NokiaFanatic, you none believer... This is reality, I got the email myself after I asked my manager for it, I was as shocked as the next guy to read the list. But T-Mobile is trimming the fat and I believe they know what their doing so that they can compete with other carriers. Now when i said discontinued i believe i also stated that we will be getting shipments in until the product runs out. Thats what a discontinuing is... You have surplus after T-Mo makes the call so they sell it off and introduce the new stuff. It could be a month or two before I sell the last razr but once i do its gone. I agree that samsungs dont work in rural areas hence why you are  a Nokia fan because of their outstanding coverage. I always recommend the Nokia to rural folk.

Most def that Nokia has the best!  Hopefully more and more of these phones will start having HotSpot capable as well as 3G.

I have a Sony Ericsson W710i....it isn't a smartphone, but it is a lot smarter then any of my past phones. I have Opera and GMail, and Google Maps etc...but I'd kill for a BB 9000 touchscreen...haha

The BB 9000 is not a touch screen, but the rumored Thunder/Lighting is.
From what I read, the Thunder IS the 9000........

What does the H and S stand for behind the features.  As a BB 8800 user, these would be GREATLY appreciated.  However, I have seen these features posted elsewhere for quite some time now.  I'm really not holding my breath anymore...

I live in NY so I'm having 3G goodness right now. Now I just need a good phone to run on the network. Any suggestion, I need a good high end phone to put the 3G network to use.
The shadow 2 is rumored to get it.....
