Now all that's needed is a quick fix to be pushed out OTA.

How many phones are in a batch? When do you think the second batch will be available? Any figures on sales rate? How did the first official sales day go?

Kind of off topic, but is there a list of top apps the has a reputation of few or no crashes? So we can maintain a hassle free experience. Maybe ones TMO News has screened and approve the quality of the app?

Is this the norm with Android, I know my BB will freeze up ocasionally, I was hoping that the Adroid 2.2 OS was better. Or is it just a smartphone problem, don't really see apple having that much problem.

What is it with ppl getting it for $149.99 etc etc. I smell something fishy.

Maybe they are going to offer it with their Smartphone BOGO when it's available on the 6th, one can hope. I'll take two if they do.

Definately want a dock, black leather holster and some cool cases would be nice also. The blue case looks nice, but not sure about a hard plastic case, I do like the rubberized Siedo type of cases.

Anybody know where I can download the G2 manual, so I can read up on it before I buy it?

I've been told by TMO store rep that it has to have a Android plan, that I could not use my BB data. I hope that's not the case, I would like to save $10 a month and use my BB  unlimited data also.

Apple / Re: iPhone Headed To T-Mobile USA in 2010/2011?

Could this be the first sign of a TMO iPhone?

Hopefully one of the 2 new models is a iPhone4 for TMO.

T-mobile Deals / Re: BOGO Question
« on: September 28, 2010, 08:47:10 am »
I asked Sunday at a T-mobile store if the BOGO would include the new G2. They said they have not recieved instructions yet if it was included or not, right now it was for all smartphones. Not that they would know, but at least I asked. Hopefully it would include the G2, cause I'll be in for 2 first day.

I would like to have the option to tether, I would not use it much but could come in handy occasionally. Like they said there is already a soft cap on data, and let me keep my $19.99 unlimited data (BB) and transfer over to android.

Mine say's I qualify and ready soon for pre-order. They also have a button called "colors" does not seem to work now, but maybe that means it will come in other colors (maybe black or dark grey or white). Anybody heard of other colors? I've seen a black test version, but no other colors.

The spec's seem pretty good for battery usage on the website, better than what was listed for my BB8900. Do the Android phone not get what they say or does it depend on usage?

Another question, if I buy the G2 outright can I just put my BB unlimited data plan to use? Is there an activation fee or does it activate once I put the sim card in?

Got to be able to see what's on the screen without constantly trying to zoom in and out for us old folks. Bring me the Desire HD or dual core 4.3" android please TMO.

Upcoming Phones / Re: Which UPCOMING Smartphone will you buy?
« on: September 20, 2010, 11:49:38 am »
I would go with the G2 right now, if the myTouch HD has the 4.3" Desire HD looks I then may have to consider changing my vote to the HD. If it remains the 3.8" plastic myTouch then definately the G2.

Will they make a dock and all the goodies for this? I did not see much on the leaked documents as far as extras for the G2. It sure would be nice to have a charging  dock at home and the office, since they are marketing this for the business and personal use.

I may have missed it but could the HTC Glacier be a HTC Desire HD? I have not seen any reference to the Glacier in awhile. Some have said it was the myTouch hD but usually that has a stone type name (Emerald). A 4.3" (Evo type) device with Android would be a nice additional to TMO. The 3.8" plastic myTouch HD does not cut it for me.

Looks like I was right, and i don't believe everything I read on the internet. This just made sense given the way Samsung is operating now.
