That works using the web to download it right to your phone?  Can that be done through Opera or do I need to use IE for it?

HD2 / Amazon Music store on HD2

All over the net before the HD2 launched it stated that it came with the Amazon Music store.  I used that feature on my android phones all the time and I would love to have it on my HD2, but it never came with it.  Does anyone know how I can get it?

Cliq Discussion / Moto Blur Force Closing!!!

After a week or so of using my cliq when ever i access text messaging it force closes moto blur, then upon exiting text messaging it force closes again!  I performed a master reset and signed back into motoblur and it was cured.... for about another week or so until it happened again. And its not intermitant either its every single time you access or close text messaging.  Any ideas on what is causing it?  There are no known issues for this within T-Mobile so I am at a loss and I don't want to do a hard reset every week to clear the issue.

I have played with both, and read the reviews on both and I have to say i am not a fan of sliders and physical keypads, unless im using a BB, and the build quality of the motorola doesn't even touch the Samsung.  The samsung is just a beautiful flawless device and i would recommend it any day over the Motorola.

having worked with phones for years I can attest to this theory.  When the BB pearl 8100 launched the white one was riddled with problems.  Also when the pearl flips launched we had a LARGE number of problems with the red one over the black one.  I can't explain why but it happens!  Also I was at work the day that we got all 3 MT3G and I noticed that the white one felt heavier than the black one.  I did not weigh it as someone earlier recommended but it just felt heavier.  I remember even having my co-worker hold them to see what she thought.  She thought I was crazy.....

And honestly that is what makes the phone so amazing.  It never freezes, I never had a battery issue, crashing, ect.  It does exactly what its supposed to, time and time again.  I do love the multi tasking abilities of Android, they are the best of any phone, but why fix what isn't broken when it comes to the iphone?  To have a phone THAT simple to use, with as much power and abilities as it holds should be an AH HA! moment for all phone manufacturers.  IMHO Android is the only other software that tries to come close to that level of simplicity.  I have been using a Touch Pro 2 for week now and I have to say it is the most cluttered, impossible to figure out phone I have ever touched.  Its beauty and abilities are clouded by how freakin confusing it is to use.  The email app is a joke, web browsing is 2nd worse i've used next to the BB browser, battery life was horrible, the amount of menus and hoops you have to jump though to get where you wanna go is a joke.  Anyway ranting aside your point is 100% spot on and I wanted to point out how that is actually a good thing, not a downfall.

Android market.  download the main app and the english pack.  then go to settings - locale and txt = and make sure the check mark is green next to touchpal.  exit out and go to messages, and in the txt field press and long hold.  a box will come up click it and select touch pal

thank you for the video, I downloaded the touchpal and I will see how it goes.  I upgraded to the HTC keyboard and it changed my life.  The android keyboard is just horrible.  hopefully I am equally impressed by the touchpal keyboard.

2 things to consider first and foremost.  Cost and Service.  
TMO:  myfavs 600 w/ unl data and txt = $85 month
ATT:  900 min w/ iphone data and unl txt = $110 month

TMO wins JD awards for customer service, and depending on the area you live in their network is far stronger.  I live in MN and ATT is not good at all.  When the 3gs launched i bit the bullet and switched to att to get it even though I worked for TMO at the time.  I dropped calls constantly and had constant failed txt messages. I NEVER have issues with network on TMO and have been with them for almost 13 years (since aerial, then voicestream).  Needless to say I returned my iphone 3gs, not because the phone was bad (it was the most amazing phone my fingers have had the privilage of touching, and I have used A LOT of phones, US and over seas phones) but because in the end coverage and actually being able to use the great features should be the top priority.  I hope this helps.  

BTW ONLY TMO will refund your act fee within the full 14 day window, ATT is 3 days to refund act fee.  Trust me I found out the hard way and paid over 100$ for 2 weeks of cruddy service.

I picked the youtube app because I found out recently that you can watch HD youtube videos when its available.  It must have been an update with 1.5 that I was unaware of.  For me that rules all!  My iPhone can't watch HD or HQ youtube videos!

My GF has had the mytouch for about a month now and we just had to uninstall freshface as it froze her phone up really bad.  constant force closes and laggy apps.  Went back to Ahome lite and phone works like a champ again.

I have mine as well...  MUCH better feeling than the G1.  Size feels more like a behold.  DEF not a brick like the G1, and the quality feels 100% better than that cheap plasticy toy feel that the G1 had.  I hadn't used Android since Christmas time when I ditched my G1 to go back to my 2G iPhone, and I must say 1.5 is a HUGE improvement!

If a rep tells you he doesn't know he is either an idiot or has a manager that is strict on leaking info as we as reps are not allowed to speculate, leak or talk about phones before t-mobile makes the official announcement (they are cracking down on this hard do to recent "roadmap" leaks). There has been no official announcement yet regarding this phone, but yes it is coming and yes we are getting trained on it.  My region (possibly all regions) are establishing a windows mobile expert for each store (I am my stores).  The expert will attend the training and pass the learnings onto the other reps in the store.

Different sim detected please connect to iTunes.  the qwkpwn ran fine, i did everything your post said and I have unlocked my personal phone numerous times without issue.  I know the jailbreak worked cause it works with an att sim, but its not working with a tmo sim so its the unlock not working.  and I checked unlock when i ran qwkpwn

reran it twice, redownloaded all the bn files and the qwkpwn software and ran it a third time still nothing..  any ideas?

Thanks I did not have a T-Mobile sim inserted when i went through the unlock process, I thought that may have something to do with it, so I will try it again here in a few minutes and let ya know how it went.  Thanks for the help and the quick response!
