Wow my G2 was doing the samething. The only difference was my G2 wasnt reading the data and the data was being erased every so often but magiclly come back. I was like well atleast it's coming back. Then one day everything just was going, picture, music, alot of apps. I was furious.

Mytouch 4G Slide / Is anyone having GPS problems with Mytouch 4G Slide?

I been having problems trying to get to map out routes to some locations. For instance I use public transporation alot and the GPs here says there no route. Then when I try my G2 it goes there a route maped out by time. I dont get it is it a normal thing for the slide or is this a defective model???? If any one can give some advice it will be greatly apreciated.

I think the G3 will come next year. It would make perfect sence. The G2 came out 2 years after the first G Device A G3 coming out 2 years later would create a trend. I was thinking about this the other day.

I thought that also, but Android was just a baby when the G1 came out.. It didn't blow up until 2010 (G2 came late 2010).. Its very popular now, so why not just do a G phone every year now? iPhone is released once a year. Droid and Droid X are released once a year.

You do make a great point. We will have to see.

   Does anyone notice there only like 3 major careeirs now this is so not cool. I mean honestly it's becoming a monopoly. I remember when I was young there were atleast 8 or 9 companies. I mean seriously this isn't cool. I mean yes there will be some benefits but look what this is doing. Why this will be bad is because of this bills will be higher, phone will become more expensive. Honestly we need atleast 9 or 8 carriers again. Bill will become cheaper and so will phones and also more competition I mean come on. Only a fool will think this is a good thing.
   There is nothing good about this. I rather have bad service that this. Im not saying because of a company buying another im saying this because we have companies becoming extinct and with less competition there will be less innovation and new ideas. I already know people will say well now we will have more coverage but at a very high price. We wont get unlimited data and if we go over they will charge t-mobile only slowed it down. Also AT&T doesn't get good android phones if anyone notices that. T-mobile has more and way better ones. Also AT&T has never upgraded any of their android phones yet!!!
   Seriously the Iphone is nice but im good. This will mess up for the lots of us. Remember AT&T can barley handle all their customer now on the iphone just imagine whats going to happened when now. Damn and not to mention AT&T locks all their phones. Seriously if im wrong let me know. Add some more info if you have any.

Things I would like with the G3
1. Second or 3rd gen snap Dragon Processor.
2. A 5 row-keyboard
3. Come in mutiple colors Red, Blue, Black and White
4. More memory actually use 4GB of Ram
5. Actully have T-mobile do commercials for the phone
6. A Bigger and better battery maybe a 2000mah or heigher
7. Keep the track-pad been a life saver

Things I don't want
1. Any Camrea of 5 mp anything over is pointless
2. Nothing over 3.7 seriously its a waste ( It kills the battery and is to damn big)
3. I don't want it to Phone geeked out. Yes I'm a phone Geek but we don't need a phone that will push the main stream away.
4.  Can't be made by Samsung,  Motorolla or any other non HTC company
5. Has to be Pure Andriod like the G2 no skin. I like sense but Na don't need it is a waste of battery power and takes longer for updates

There are tons 3rd party car docks designed for the G2. If you notice t-mobile doesn't promote the G2 HTC does and so does google. I think because they don't want to compete with the Droid whuich out sold the Iphone.

Another stupid thing is how people compain about not having a 4 inch phone. Seriously no one wants that only phone geeks and techies do. Until the Iphone makes one nobody wants it. Also let's be real here the phones battery life would suck. Didn't you brains notice the droid X, Evo, and the galaxies die pretty quick. I used all and compared the battery life to my G2 and the Evo shift guess whuich 2 phones lasted the longest? Yea the shift and G2 the G2 lived the longest. Also another thing Somled don't really matter try a G2 and a galaxy you will notice nothing different when it comes to the picture.

I wanted the Cliq when I first it until I read about how the battery is worst than the G1 which was a turn off Blur seemed interesting to me. I will see a the Dog fight you know someone from droid dog or phone dog will do it. In my oppion the G2 is better doesn't actully mean it is for you.  The G2 is what the G1 should have been. The Cliq 2 does interesting to me. I don't want to own it but just play with it.

The G2 wins in my oppion. The Cliq 2 can take on a Droid people!!!!!! The G2 is still better than both in my oppion.
