T-Mobile@Home / Re: @Home Service is still being sold
« on: February 14, 2010, 02:06:44 pm »
I keep seeing people posting in the comments to the news releases here that T-Mobile is going to throw the switch on the entire UMA program, both cell phone and @Home phone.  These people claim to work for TMO and have inside information.  If what they are saying is true, then all the people with @Home lines under contract are going to have to be released from their contract ETF free and find another home phone provider.  So it really makes no sense for TMO to keep selling their routers and signing people up for a service that's going to disappear in a few months.  The handwriting is on the wall, it's a matter of when, not if.  So is TMO going to keep it alive for the next two years to satisfy the contracts, or throw the switch in the next few months and tell everyone good luck?

T-Mobile Services / Re: Regulatory Program Fee Increase

I just got my bill in the mail yesterday, and there was an insert in there about the increase.  Has anyone tried to get out of their contract yet?

My last bill closed May 20, a friend of mine June 7.  No notice or increase on the bill anywhere.  What is your billing cycle closing date?  I will take a close look at my June 20 bill for any sort of notice.  I believe this would be grounds for waiving an ETF if you do not accept the increase.  Thanks for the heads up.

T-Mobile Services / Re: Voicemail Outage?

There is a voicemail outage in the Los Angeles area for all @Home lines.  You cannot access voicemail and your callers cannot either.  I called them yesterday and they are working on it.  It has been out since Friday.

T-Mobile@Home / New Firmware posted - 1.00.15
« on: December 24, 2008, 11:53:54 pm »
Today Linksys posted new firmware for the WRTU54G-TM router.  I downloaded it and upgraded.  So far I have noticed that it tells you in no uncertain terms when you have a call waiting, which many of us were wanting.  Okay everyone please download it and post your feedback and what differences you find!
