Vibrant / call waiting issues

I have noticed if I am on a call and I get a call on the other line, the screen doesn't come up when I take it away from my ear to try and see who is calling. I find this to be very annoying. Is anyone else having this problem? Any idea why it's doing this, or what I can do to make it work right? Thanks!

my phone got glitchy and eventually bricked after I got the update wish I could experience all this greatness, but waiting on a replacement phone which is on backorder with no date in sight.

they are sending me a new phone as well, but I have been told by numerous customer care reps that the phone is on backorder and they have no idea of when it will be available again. So I am stuck using a CRAP-tastic loner phone. They did credit me a month of internet though.

my phone bricked yesterday after the update, which I downloaded maybe a week ago? It'd been acting glitchy ever since, but totally bricked yesterday. Turned itself off and wouldn't come back on. Hard reset wouldn't work. They are sending me a replacement phone.

Samsung Android / Gmail help please

I created a gmail account on my vibrant when I first got it. I don't ever have to sign in on my phone, I just go into the email widget and it brings my inbox up. I'm trying to sign in on my computer for the first time and for the life of me I can't remember my password. I keep trying to reset it, but it keeps taking me to this big long form I have to submit. Am I doing something wrong, or is my only option filling out this form? Thanks!

I'm kinda clueless about stuff if it's not an option on the menu somewhere lol. How do I upload pictures from my phone to my facebook? I haven't synced to facebook, or whatever that option on one of the homescreens is, because I'd heard so many people complaining about it not working.

this is cool thanks! Does anyone know how to change the order of the different words that come up in the option box? Or to delete one totally? For some reason everytime I want to type 'a' the first thing it goes with is a7 and it's annoying.

Samsung Android / How to uninstall apps

I have downloaded a few apps that I now want to uninstall, but can't find how to do it. For example, one of them is weather bug. There is no uninstall option in the menu. Also how do I delete things that came prelaoded, but that I don't want (mobiTV, Kindle) and so on? Thanks for your help!

OH, almost forgot, I can't get my snooze on the Vibrant to work. I have it set to go off every 3 min, but when I hit 'stop' on the alarm when it first goes off, that's it, it doesn't come on again. I overslept this morning bc of it. There isn't a 'snooze' button when the alarm is going off, only the 'stop' option.

mine is def. taking longer than the first day or 2 I had it. I've had it for 3 days and today I started noticing this too. Not sure what the cause is and while it's not a big issue, it's kinda annoying and makes me wonder if it's going to continue to get worse??

Samsung Android / need help with saving video

I am moving from the original behold to the Vibrant. I have a few videos on the behold that are important to me, but it won't let me e-mail them bc they are too big. How do I save them to the SD card? Once on the SD card, any ideas on how to get them onto my computer? I tried in the past to upload some others and it gave me an error saying my computer couldn't support it or something. It didn't give me any suggestions on any software I may need to download. I appreciate any help, they are all videos of my son when he was tiny before we got a camcorder.

thank you sooooo much!!! I think my only hesitance with keeping it is the day after I bought it here comes all this info. about the HTC device in September and possibly the iphone. I don't really need a qwerty keyboard so if the HTC phone is going to have that, I wouldn't really be interested in it.

I have the vibrant and like it pretty well so far. I've got 14 days to decide if I want to keep it or not. I have a few questions and would love some guidance.

is there a way to move icons around on the different home screens? Also, is there a way to put app icons on the homescreen, or do they have to stay in the menus?

Is there a way to assign a picture to contacts? In the camera it will give you the option to set it to a contact, but won't connect to my phonebook, it will only give the option to create a new contact

Is there a way to check messages while on a phone call?

Where can I get a good case? I think one of the things I don't like is how light this phone feels. It feels kinda cheap to be honest, plus it keeps slipping and falling. Also, what about the docking station that has speakers and stuff?

see my problem is, when I go to costco.com it's not showing an order for me anywhere. It says I have no order history and I never even got a confirmation email.

I ordered mine last night online, I am not a member. It didn't ask me to create an account, just for an email and to create a password. Completed order. Never received a confirmation email or anything and today I can't log in using the email and password. So I created an account, using the same email and password that I used last night and it says I have no order history. Called T-mobile to see if they received notification of the upgrade. They haven't. However, my bank account is showing a 99 dollar pending charge. Any ideas about what's happened here? Of course I can't call costco until tomorrow bc they don't have customer service on the weekends. I'm pretty irritated.
Also, is it true that this phone doesn't vibrate to alert for text messages? If that's true, that's really really stupid and makes me wonder if I made a good choice here. I am a HEAVY texter so text features are important to me.
