Sony Ericsson Discussion / Equinox - MSN Errors
« on: February 23, 2010, 01:04:30 pm »
I recently purchased the SE Equinox (TM717) and I have the $ 10 Dollar Internet with it. But my problem is, When I sign into MSN Messenger it will load up my contact list but will state Failed To Update My Status every single time and none of my contacts will be online (when they are online when I sign into regular MSN) i've tried everything but I can not seem to find the problem.

Blackberry 8900 / Re: tethering on the blackberry 8900
« on: July 20, 2009, 10:35:28 am »
I Tether mine just using Windows XP Regular Dial Up and Desktop Manager 4.7.

What you have to check is the following:

Go to Control Panel -> Phones & Modems and see if you see Standard Modem and make sure there is a port behind it (for example COM. 5) with the Blackberry connected.

Click on the Modem and press properties and add the following under the advanced tab exactly the way i typed it:

+cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.voicestream.com"

(just copy and paste it)

Now you need to make a Dial Up Connection for it:

So Again go to Control Panel -> Network Connections and Click "Create A New Connection" on the right side of the window.

Choose -> Connect To The Internet -> Set Up My Connection Manually ->

Type in T-Mobile Data as the ISP Name (You can name it anything you want)
And as a Phone number type in this *99#

Leave the username & password blank so click next again and than you click on done.

Now before you connect make sure you have at least the blackberry device manager running

Start -> Programs -> Blackberry -> Blackberry Device Manager

now you can connect

Start -> Connect To -> Tmobile Data (Or whatever you called it) and press Dial... Done..

The only thing T-Mobile needs now is a family data plan for all lines.

T-Mobile Services / Re: Family Plan question
« on: May 11, 2009, 02:17:42 pm »
I decided, I'll save up some money and just cut there lines. One of them already has another plan with T-Mobile and one of them lives in Houston so It's not like I can drive over there and get the money. Kind of sad to have family (in laws) like that. I do not feel I should have to depend on them.

I have that too and use that but the problem is when time comes the bill needs to be payed and it's overdue, they cut all lines so than the Family Allowence doesn't matter anymore.

T-Mobile Services / Family Plan question
« on: May 08, 2009, 09:19:42 pm »
I currently have a T-Mobile Family Plan (+ Myfaves). Here is the problem
I Have 4 lines (1 for my wife, 1 for me, 1 for the in-laws and 1 for the sister-in-law)

Now the last 2 people have the tendency to pay late (after bill is due) is there a plan or way to say okay i pay the first two lines and the other 2 lines get cut (until payment for those lines are in)

Or am I pretty much stuck to calling them day in, day out (like a collection agency) until they budge?

ps. I have thought about cutting there lines but that is $400 dollars for both lines I don't really have that kind of money.

Feedback / Custom Avatars + Rant about website..
« on: March 25, 2009, 09:52:30 am »
Why search? And locking my thread, i am sorry i'm a little bastard. But uhmmm why not go with the flow? keep it running smoothly?

Yes the site is great, updates are slow and are mainly about the G1 and False Rumors... seriously...

but that's alright i've had a lot of fun on this site but it's not like T-Mobile is worth anymore having a blog about..

ps. its fun when people don't want to hear / read anymore about it they just block/ban/lock... the amazing power of the internet and the pain of the truth.

Why aren't we able to get our OWN custom avatars??? But do we have to select a bunch of "crappy" avatars... welcome to the 21st century?

Can you read?

It's not to be rude, but if you read the sentence than it says enough right?

The website downloads are not enabled for your device...

BlackBerry Discussion / Re: Blackberry Addictions?
« on: March 22, 2009, 05:50:52 pm »
Blackberry phones are amazing, no matter what model / shape. Surely there newer software models give a few errors (on T-Mobile) -> Myfaves likes to cause the App Error 523.. (at least on my flip it did)

But overall there stable, reliable and the OS amazing. Compared to Windows Mobile for instance... BB KiX AsZ!

G1 Discussion / Re: Market now accepting paid apps
« on: February 14, 2009, 01:36:01 pm »
Seriously... That sucks big time... Why pay for 3/4 of the "crap" that is on there anyway? People will develop all kinds of **** just to make money..

That is incredibly stupid, isn't this world about competition? If you can implement it, implement it. Eventually people's demand is going to get bigger for it. It's probably useless (multitouch) but hey you wanna compete you gotta take it all!

G1 Discussion / Re: RC33 update!?
« on: February 08, 2009, 12:45:02 am »
Well RC33 pretty much s*x b*lls... Nice feature the Latitude and the Check updates.. but uhmm how many T-Mobile phones actually come equipped with that feature ;) (note: Samsung phones & Motorola phones)

Still no major updates... This is just an update to keep us quiet for a few weeks until we want some REAL new features added to the phone..
