seems like you need to be one of the chosen ones. I entered in both numbers on my account and it didn't work.

T-mobile Deals / Re: Loyalty Does very well

Well I did some looking around too and the only thing close to what I was actually using were the new verizon shared plans, but I enjoy my gsm based service. I rely less on customer service. But when I got that deal from t-mobile it was clear I didn't need to look any further. I just hope they have a loyalty deal around so that I can just add on hotspot for free without having to change my plan.

T-mobile Deals / Loyalty Does very well

So I was calling in to check about getting my plan or a better version of my plan at a lower price and I got a pretty reasonable deal.

I currently have:
1000 ft minutes - $69.99
unlimited family texts - $9.99
(2) Pref unlimited web - $20
Myfaves - Free

with my 15% discount and taxes, fees, and phone insurance my bill comes to $134 a month

I was hoping there was an unlimited minutes family deal I could switch out for my 1000 mins plan, but looking at my usages its not even worth it.

Well now you know the background here is the deal I was given and I took.
$10/m discount for 2 year contract + $200 credit off my bill. = $440 in savings off my bill for the term of the contract.
The lady kept saying since I have been with t-mobile for 10 years it was worth giving me the discount so I can save and be a happy customer. So I'm not sure if age of account had anything to do with it, but maybe you others could benefit off my good news :)

By how I got my rebate from verizon is that they mail you a visa card, but you don't have to fill out any paper work just sign up for the right plan and they will send you an email of where they should send the card and verify you are still with them.

So I guess its a mail out rebate. :) But it def. is not instant.

Thanks, I was actually wondering how the DVR worked on FIOS. With Comcast if you record something in one room you can't watch it in another room, you need 2 boxes. is it the same with Fios??

with the multi room dvr and a standard box can record on the dvr and watch it on the standard box.

I have fios its great. For the triple play thats a good deal especially if you get it online you get another $5 off per month. so then it would be 79.99

So with the tweet from google that it is now OTA update but no word on t-mobile.com support forums. Should we believe google when it says it has an update? I did a phone force checkin and nothing but I won't try again until next week. Hopefully someone will post when they get the update.

So I'm trying to get into playing Xbox more, but of coarse juggling a family plus having only one xbox with a husband who has the mine syndrome sometimes its hard to get on like I want. But add me as a friend and when I get online with the Kinect or Black ops we can get some play time in.

Yeah thats what was weird. He has no reason to lie, but I can understand if it was mis read. But he said he had to fight tooth and nail with T-mobile to get it off.

T-Mobile Services / Charge to access 4G network
« on: January 23, 2011, 10:09:23 pm »
Hey guys I had a question. I was hanging with my older brother today watching the game and he just got the Samsung vibrant a couple of months ago. He said he got a charge on his bill for $8 to access the 4G network, but he has a 3G phone. He said he argued with them to get it taken off because he wasn't told of needing this extra charge and it didn't make sense to be charged for access to the internet that he couldn't get the top speeds from. I don't know much about the vibrant or how fast it can upload and download.

My main question is, is T-mobile pulling a Sprint by now charging you an extra $8 to access their "4G" network?

Customer Service / Re: T-Mobiles Policy on replacing a G1?
« on: January 23, 2011, 01:46:42 pm »
Question how is it t-mobile's fault it broke? And also are you on the EM Plus plan, is that why you would want to go the warranty option instead of just upgrading the line to a new android phone? If you talk to retentions you may still be able to get the G2 for free.

The chick is one of the 3rd string guys (don't know what the actor's name is but he was in the jackson 5 movie) who proposed to during Melenie and Derwin's engagement party. She has claimed to slept with a lot of the team, including Derwin.

I think they should write that Melanie go try and plead with Jenay about everything. But it sucks she did put him in this predicament.

I think its kind of messed up how they are packed into a 30min show on BET instead of having more reasonable ways to fix things they just throw a band-aid on it and say its fixed. Like Tasha and  Kelli, no beef the last longer that a month between 2 people not related can be solved that easy.
