I noticed excellent reception on my 9700....i used to get EDGE inside my house and 3G anywhere else until a few weeks ago now i get full bars of 3G!!

Now we have all seen the commericals from AT&T....and my friend who also have tmobile...saying he was talking to his friend and checking his bank account at the same time...i didn't believe him until I googled it and saw on crackberry that all GSM phones (at&t and t-mobile) can do this...i had NO IDEA!! lol am i the only t-mobile person who didn't know this?

There is a new aim app on the market called hello aim!

This might work for you.

YESS everyone i hated the AIM that came with the phone and all the other apps trying to make AIM better but failed..and Thank GOD there's a new app called Hello AIM in the market...download it and you will not be disappointed. It's even better than the sidekick aim and that means ALOT coming from me...an ex sidekick LX user.

Hey everyone,

does anyone know if the face plate on the behold can be changed? Like I'm going to sell my rose behold, but the person willing to trade it with me is a guy and obviously does not like the pink....can the face plate be changed? If so can tmobile do it?

haha im going to do the same! I at first heard about the samsung phone loonng ago and fell in love with it...well actually the samsung F480....but the behold is soo different and basically just a basic phone with a nice camera....

I first had the G1 hated it with IM issues and etc...got the behold...now im going back to the G1 and staying with it this time.

I found Studio PC 3.2.2 HG5 - this is the one that Samsung recommends for the Behold with WinXP.  I installed it, but when I plug in my phone is still says, "windows found new hardware...insert installation CD now."  It recognizes the phone as Samsung CDMA technologies.  HELP!!

Update:  Okay...I was looking for this to be a plug-and-play configuration.  There is a step inside PC Studio for connection the phone.  I did that and it is working.  Goosfraba (anger management)

how exactly did you get pc suite to recognize the device? I tried to manually connect and it still fails and keeps asking for the cdma driver.

This is really annoying i have tried both methods and nothing works! Why did they make this so hard to be recognized by our computers...i just wanna put music on it!!!

3G is just the speed of sending messages and accessing the web on the phone, if you do not have 3G in your area u can still use the phone you'll just be using the EDGE network, still fast (if u ever had a sidekick then u know)just not as fast as 3G, like nightfallz said, you just need a gmail account and the G1 data plan to use the phone.

G1 Tech support / IM issues

Me and my other friends who have the G1 also noticed this...ok i like google talk but all of my friends are on AIM, i had the sidekick lx before i upgraded, so of course i wanna keep talkin to my sidekick friends, but its hard to do that when on the G1 it signs u off without u knowing until u look at your buddy list and it shows everyone is offline when they aren't.

Is anyone else noticing this? it really annoying, hopefully the next update will fix this
