Just got a G1 for my wife and its on RC19...  How do we get updates?  Or they magically appear OTA unannounced?  LOL

anywho...I love my G1 too...battery life sucks...but after dealing with a 1 year old wing whose battery died much faster in its latter months...Its actually not so bad

I use regular facebok...I even chat with friends on facebook chat..You have to zoom out but everything works fine for me even friend requests

I LOVE IT!

No prob with battery life...maybe becuase my screen locks and goes off after 15 seconds and I turn off GPS and WIFI if im not using maps

GPS works great!...lost signal a little while in DC (prolly becuase of all of the satellite signals in the area cuz of govt)...but picked right back up just fine

I do hope they create an  on-screen keyboard

The QWERTY keypad couldve been better but I guess they were trying to get it as flat as possible

The chin took some getting used to but I have long fingers so it was easy to manuever around

I don't really use the camera or listen to music...i never have on a phone...thas what my cam and mp3 player r for

Just wish we had more space for apps....but i don't think ill ever go back to a non-android phone EVER again. My friends are all hype about the touch pro...Im like thas a great phone but no android...sorry!

I thought I would get to the AT&T stores in July to try the Iphone for 14 days, but the lines were around the corners, and they didn't even have enough to cover the line.

Does those lines even come close to the AT&T/Apple iphone lines?

Doubt it...there was waaaaay more hype...I just went to Rite Aid and the cashier was like "Is that the new Google Phone?" all excited like....didn't think anyone would recognize it.

I love it!...i have lon g fingers...so its easy to manuever around the chin...after a few minutes i didnt even notice it anymore...it got a little hot but i have it so my screen turns off after 15 seconds of no use...so not hot for too long...have to remember to disable that when i use gps

Still no phone. Out for delivery at 7:33am...Its 8Pm EST....They UPS lady said they have to get everything off their trucks that is supposed to be delivered that day unless the recipient is unable to sign

LOL I just got back from lunch and saw a UPS truck a few streets over. He'd better be headed this way before I need to head back to work!

i'd follow him and block his truck off so he stops, get out the car and demand your package!!

LMAO I started to harass this UPS truck I saw on 395 (Virginia) this morning on my way to work. LOL. I KNOW my phone had to be on there!

Yep, I'm throwing this in here too because I almost had a heart attack this morning when it went off. I felt like I was doing a fire drill with all the vibrating and noise. I wish there was an option in some of these applications for vibrate only.

This seriously had me ROFL...isn't an alarm clock supposed to be alarming! lol

My Wing is doing the exact same thing. Maybe the set it up to switch over on your delivery day to make the transition easier.  It still sux to not be able to access the internet on my Wing until I get my phone.

yea when i got a replacement wing it came with a new sim...I still havent used it yet
