i have had the same problem, along with poor call quality and dropped calls. I have been told that these problems are associated with poor QoS (Quality of Service) which Cable ISP's like Comcast cannot/will not address. I installed the new firmware today to see if it does address this and provide any additional UMA prioritization.

installed today, and am interested to see what it might address. Often callers cannot hear me and call back. 8320 does not handoff to EDGE nicely (drops call). 8320 calls drop even in range. Running 4.5.0.124

This is my situation as well, I have 1bar at home. I have H@H and TMO@H, but nothing is really working for me. I still have dropped/missed calls and poor quality. I am always moving around the house to rtry to find or maintain a good signal. Often if I am on the phone when I arrive at home I find myself sitting outside so not to drop the call.

I never considered leaving TMO.
