Android market discussion! / HELP! I cannot install TOUCHPAL on my MYTOUCH

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I installed the English pack first and then the actual keyboard but the tp would not come up. I tried uninstalling and removing the battery and reinstalling but that didn't help either. I did the longtouch before the keyboard popped up on a msg and the android keyboard came up. I am not prompted on which text input i want to use. I went to locale and text and made sure the check was checked next to touch pal. I am all out of options.

Can anyone help?

Is there any way of setting an mp3 file as the text message ring tone?  i love my music
