T-Mobile Services / 2nd line options

I currently have 1 line with a BB curve on the 500m + unl text + 200mb data plan and want to add another line which will have unl data at least, what would be the best way? Create a family line or add a separate line? Is adding an EM+ line a good idea seeing as I have an HD2 or DVP I can use already. Thanks.

Dell Venue / What say the T-Mo ninja's! on the Nov 15th launch?

Just wondering if there are any hints of a delay for the suppsed Nov 15th launch for the VP, UK retailers are reporting a "delay" but not sure how true that is as it was initially mentioned to be coming in Jan by a Dell rep at some event.

Just wondering, how are you watching the world cup on your HD2? I have connected to my sisters slingbox only to realise she doesnt have ESPN so cant watch it. Any other way to watch live?

HD2 / Looking for free smtp server

I am trying a new email service (fastmail) but they dont support SMTP for sending emails. I was wondering if anyone knows of a free smtp server I could use, possibly even T-Mobile if they have one.

HD2 / Youtube blocked on 3G?

I noticed this with my Touch Pro 2, whenever I try to watch a YouTube video i get an error, but if I switch to WiFi the same video on the same page plays fine. Anyone else notice this?

HD2 / What ebooks have you downloaded?

Since we have the eReader application on the HD2 I was inclined for the first time to look a bit more seriously at ebooks. Barnes & Noble has a few free ebooks for download along with 3 free when you run the application for the first time. So far I have downloaded Metagame, First Light Chronicles and Edge of Apocalypse to start, what have you got on yours?

HD2 / T-Mobile changed my plan from $19.99 total internet

I paid full retail for the HD2 this morning but on checking t-mobile.com I see my total internet is not listed anymore and unlimited web is now displayed instead. Wasnt paying full retail supposed to prevent this from happening? how can I get this reversed?

HD2 / HD2- Sense UI or Titanium? And why?

So the HD2 is weeks away, and I wonder what people will be running as their UI, Sense or 6.5's Titanium and why. I'm pretty sure most, if not all will opt for Sense and I wonder what exactly makes you choose it over the stock UI. I personally have used Sense on my TP2 and found it good but after using Titanium on my 137 since selling the TP2 I find I dont really see the need for it.

Personally I find Titanium faster and with Home Screen Customiser (free from MP) I can rearrange the screen and add other panels which allows me to have as much info on the screen as possible without having to scroll. As for Sense, apart from looking better than the stock programs I there was not much extra functionality beyond the weather tab, and I never used the weather feature as it required agreeing to allow google to harvest my phone and data usage and the other features were not really that important, apart from the music tab which is covered by WMP which does the same thing but just doesnt look as cool.

So where do you stand, Sense or Titanium?

Touch Pro2 / Youtube blocked?

I have been running agent_47's Valkyrie roms and notice that trying to play youtube videos in PIE over a 3G connection give an error and fail to play, when on wifi the same video plays OK in PIE. Does anyone know if T-Mo is blocking youtube? I have the $19.99 Total Internet plan and bought my TP2 on ebay. Thanks

Touch Pro2 / 4 months in, whats your opinion?

Thinking of switching from a Pharos 137 to a TP2 for the keyboard, so whats the feeling about your TP2 phone after about 4 months? As the 137 has opened up the 3G world to me being able to input text faster and more reliably is now more of a priority than it was previously. Dont think the size would bother me, I would happily carry a Blue Angel type device if it was released and that phone was no lightweight. So what the story? Plus I will be looking to flash a WM 6.5.1 rom, preferably stock as I'm not a fan of TouchFlo 3D. Thanks.

Windows Mobile / T-Mobile & WM, now and in the future.

Its obvious that T-Mo has no interest in promoting or perversely selling WM phones, rather preferring to push Android devices. While there is nothing wrong with having a flagship device, providing no advertising, promotion, charging a high price, being completely silent on its release and in some cases steering buyers away from the TP2 to the Mytouch seems to be doing their customers who would like to use WM a disservice, subjecting them to an inferior experience compared to buying an android phone. Now with the Moto Cliq we see signs of a pre-order which the TP2 did not have.

With WM7 expected in a year's time and T-Mo likely to still be offering the TP2 as their high-end WM device how do you feel about T-Mo as a WM user? If T-Mo doesnt offer new WM devices running the new OS will you be inclined to move to another carrier or switch devices to stay with T-Mo?

Touch Pro2 / Rumour: no WM 6.5 upgrade for T-Mo TPII?

A poster who says he works for T- Mo on Howardforums says T-Mo wont offer an upgrade to WM 6.5.
