Hi, My g1 accelorometer stopped working. i dont think im spelling it right but its the thing that detets motion for rotating and games. So yea some games arent working, and the auto rotate on steel doesnt work, and lots of other apps too. So please help with this Thanks

Tech Hotline / I cant hang up on G1!

Ok, so the problem is when I'm talking on the phone for more than 7 minutes, i cant hang up the phone, i have to either take the battery out, or wait a few minutes. i called t-mobile and they sent me a replacement, so they sent another one, and it still does the same thing. I called again and now they said its an app, but they don't know which one, i really don't want to delete all my apps, so can someone help me with this? thanks

so the rumored G2 is really the htc magic for vodaphone, no tmobile i guess. oh well i like the g1 better anyways

Apple / Made my iPhone look like an iPod Touch

Ok took about an hour to do, but because i have the g1 now, my iPhone is going to be my iPod until the 3rd Gen Touch comes out in september. So I made my iPhone screen look exactly like an iPod Touch



What I did:
 Changed NO SIM to iPod
 Split iPod into Music and Videos
 Took off Phone & SMS
 Took off all Winterboard Themes
 Took of Folders

The SpringBoard.springs was a pain in the A to edit but i got it finnaly, and next im going to buy a case to cover the sides and back so ppl dont thnk im strange with an iPhone and G1 lol

I got my G1, and tossed my iphone(not literally, its too expensive to do that). So far its great! i love it in almost every way more than the iphone exept a few things

Mutimedia like ipod is FAAAAAR superior in the iPhone than the G1
Games on the g1 arent as good as the iphone
Still getting used to the thickness of the phone

Other than that its a truely great phone

i think Im going to renew my contract tommarow, because of the companion flights, and free activation and free upgrading, and the place next to my house is selling G1s, Zines, Beholds and all of others tmobile phones for free. So i think im going to get a G1 tommarow. Anyways do you think now is a good time to renew or should i wait. Thanks
