T-Mobile Services / It was fun...but total crap

I have been with tmo now for the last 2 years, some of you may remember when I came here, I am sad ( and somewhat proud) to say that I am leaving TMO at the end of the month. I am tired of there service, and I am tired of having to jump through hoops to get any thing fixed.

The final straw for me was when I walked into a TMO store looking to add a third line to my account and they told me NO because they said I was paying my bill a day late every month, However I was NOT paying the bill late I was paying the bill on time if not early...

Then to make things worse when I told the rep that I did not think I could stay with them after that he threw my card back into my face and told me to have a nice life.....This was not the first run-in I have had with the customer service but will be the last.....

I was going to download Pac Man to my phone after having on my G1 and its no longer free, I just downloaded it like 2 weeks ago on my old G1 but on the mytouch it costs like 4 bucks

MyTouch 3G / Mt 3.5 mm picture help

Today I was taking pics with my phone, when a few times it told me to insert my sd card out the middle of nowere, i would turn the phone on and off and BAM it worked again. Now that I am at home I am trying looking at them and some of them wont open in the gallary, the thumb nail is there but when i touch it it just opens a black screen, also some of the thumb nails have a odd looking symbole on them...help plz

MyTouch 3G / Swype APP and music player

Sorry if I didnt spell it right in the subject, but I just got my mytouch 3.5 mm today and i wanted to say that swype is pretty good, there has been only one word sence iv gotten it that it was stumped on, but other then that its right on 99.9 percent of the time

I was using the music player and a few people said they tried to call me and the phone didint ring nor does it show it in my call logs...is this supposed to happen?

So as some of you may know, I came to Tmonews sporting a brand new G1...well after 3 phones have gone south on me, Tmow offerd me an exchange for the new mytouch...while this phone will always be in my heart I must say its time to move on...you were my first big boy toy and hell...gave me something to show off at work for a while

I will say that all 3 phones that have died, went out in diffrent fashion..the first one would turn on but thats it...the second one wouldent charge right and battery life was about 20 minutes..and the thrid one...the one I had only had for a about four and a half months...just never turned back on one day..*sniffel sniffel*

So if every one would please let me know how many you have had go out so I know if im just a bad phone person...

MyTouch 3G / Have a question or two

About 12 hours ago by beloved G-1 pooped out and died for the 3rd time, I chated with TMO over the computer and they offerd me a Mytouch 2.1 in exhange for my old faulty g1, pretty sweet huh?

The first and main question is, what all will the new phone come with? this is what the chat says about whats being shiped out to me

"Your HTC MyTouch 1.2 Black Kit (Alternate Exchange) (Kit) will be delivered via UPS Ground at no shipping cost to you to"

So what all should I get....will i get the charger and memory card that comes with them or just the charger...or neither....some one please help me

Now I am not one to judge a women for the number of children that she brings into this world because lets face it, these things happen, but there is no excuse what so f-ing ever to bring 14 in when you dont have a job, are at least 60,000 dollars in debt....worst part is she now has a website where people can give her free stuff and money.

I think this is wrong, this lady had fill control over what happend and she still brough all these children into this world, not a single one of her children were brought into this world using sexual intercourse

Ok Im not sure if someone has a topic on this or not here but I thought since I just had it a few weeks ago I would comment. A few weeks ago My xbox died and with in 10 minutes the work order had been put in and now is on its way back to me YAY

Now if any one else has had this problem I can tell you what to do and how to do it. The first thing you need to do is call microsoft and see if your system is still in warranty ( if you didn't register that's fine because the warranty starts the day you bought it) and since microsoft has issued the 3 year warranty for red-ring chances are its still in warranty, as soon as you call microsoft they will eather email you the ups labels or send you a box ( the choice is yours).

DO NOT TRY TO FIX BEFORE CALLING!!! yes the problem is simply just suturing coming undone as soon as you break the seal, your warranty is over no questions about it.

Tech Hotline / Track ball on G1....

The track ball on my G1 keeps going "soft" in the down directon ( with the phone closed) and it will not work in that direction

The prob does fix it self every so often and they trackball will work fine in all directions but then it will go bck to the same situation....

 So I saw the new 7 pounds today knowings it was going to be a good movie and by the time of the closing seconds of the movie..I was in AWE. This movie was wonderfull from the start to the finish.

The movie is one of those movies you have to watch start t finish beacuse with in the first 20 minutes of the movie you will miss alot if you dont watch it.

The movie is full of flash backs and can get really confusing at first bt by the end of the movie you will learn EVERY thing, and I mean every thing, by the end of the movie you will ask youself...How far will you go for love and redemption....I cired......lol   

now I have only one qestion, I understand the "7" in the title but I dont under stand the "pounds"

Android market discussion! / POWER MANAGER

Last night before I went to sleep I was browing the App Market and I found power manager so I was like what the hell ill give it a try so I turned my phone off to let it charge then woke up today at 10 turned it on then unpluged it it is now 11 at night ( 13 hours later) and I have 37 percent bat left I talked on the phone for an hour and have been txting almost alllllll like I have had to clear the logs out like 5 times today beacuse I have had 4 diffrent theards with over 300 txts so here what I did and I hope some other can get the same results


I opened the app and clicked on the low Battery thing and it sets it as if it would when you have a low bat it dims the screen and turns off 3g ( but for me the EDGE works fine) but man for that much battary power it is worth it

I am sorry if there is already a topic about this I tired to look for it but could not find it

G1 Tech support / G1 STOPED WORKING!!!!!

so today after work I was seding a txt messege when my phone froze, I waited 20 min and it still did not unfreeze so I pulled the battary from the back of it and then tried to rest my phone, after doing so I got the G1 screen and then my screen went blank, I pushed buttons for a few moments and then I was shocked when the adroid logo didint show but I was looking at my home screen, but then again it froze and I repulled the Battary but this time my phone did that little vibrate thing and was stuck at a black screen...I called CS and we sat n the phone for 45 min tying to fix it before they said they need to send me a new phone.....this happen to any one else

G1 Discussion / Dont Let Texts get too backed up

So every time I would go to reply to a text after getting one my G1 would get a little message that said the app has stopped working, so I tried to erase the threads and it did the same thing, so I Had to go back to the factory settings and I lose all apps but kept all contacts ( well most of them I did lose 3 I think I kept my fave 5) any way just dont let them get to full mine where at like 989 on one thread alone and it was really bad, I hope this helps some people and I am sorry if theres a thread for this but I found thus out and I wanted to pass the word
