Customer Service / Avoiding ETF

Hello there, this is my first time posting here.
I've been with T-Mobile since 10/17/03. I have four lines right now. I had 5 until last year when my wife switched to AT&T because she wanted an iPhone 4.
Out of four lines, my mother-in-law was using one. She migrated back home (Philippines) about three weeks ago. I want to be able to cancel that line (in contract till Oct 2013) for obvious reasons, no one's using it and it's costing me $5 a month.
Is there any way I can avoid paying the $200 ETF?
