Customer Service / Iphone 4 - Unlocking

I recently got an iPhone 4 that is locked to at&t. I want to unlock it through so that I can use it on T-Mobile but read that it is illegal. But since this is an iPhone 4 can I still unlock it?
I read this: "Due to the recent legislation passed by the library of congress for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we are forbidden to unlock devices that were manufactured on January 26th and later, we will not be held liable for unknowingly unlocking a device that was made from this date on-wards"

Is it ok for me to unlock the iPhone 4 since it was not manufactured on January 26, 2013?

G2x / Android 2.3.4

Today I updated my G2X to version 2.3.4. Everything seems to be running smoothly but I have noticed that when I am in the play store trying to update my apps, my phone says "insufficient storage." This has never happened prior to the update, is anyone else experiencing this problem when trying to update their apps?

i recently got a g2x and i am loving it. i synced my facebook with my contacts but for some reason when i text my contacts, their picture is not showing up in the text conversation. does anyone know how to fix this?

T-Mobile Services / Upgrading

I am currently on a family plan with my mom and sister. my sisters phone broke and my mom wants to upgrade now. unfortunately i want to wait until this summer when phones like the pyramid comes to t-mobile. is it possible for my mom and sister to upgrade now but keep my line open until this summer and when i find a phone i like i can upgrade?
