Unlocked phones / Will Samsung Alias 2 unlocked run on T-Mobile?

Love the flip and keyboard built into Samsung Alias but I'm wondering if I buy one unlocked, will it work on TMobile. I have messaging and the old 2.99 t-zones and myFaves.

Samsung Discussion / Gravity batteries Very Much Improved!!!
« on: August 07, 2009, 01:04:09 pm »
I bought my son a Gravity back in July and they improved the battery life 200%. Now he goes for 3 days without charging. He's not a heavy talker, keep in mind, but that is much improved over the standby time originally not even lasting for 1 day. :D

Samsung Discussion / Re: LOVE MY SAMSUNG COMEBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The keyboard is great. I was worried about the smaller keys but they are so easy to press. My husband says it's a little small for his fingers though. The inside screen is awesome (I do wish the outside screen was a little larger) and the internet works the best of any I've had so far. I just have web2go but it will access almost any page and even though the screen is smaller it registers the site well. I don't have full 3G in my town but in some neighboring cities closer to Atlanta, the 3G is awesome and super fast on that phone.

and my favorite color, purple.

No, it's on the www.walmart.letstalk.com site which is their wireless site. The hightlight is there already for FREE!

I noticed today that the Samsung Highlight that was released by T-Mobile last week is already on the Walmart web lineup. Does anyone know when Walmart will have the Comeback? I know August, but I'm looking for a more specific date and will they have both colors? They have both colors of Highlight. Thanks!

Locked Posts / Samsung XO release date?????
« on: May 14, 2009, 01:25:30 pm »
Does anyone have more info on the release date of the Samsung XO? It's the little red and gray messaging phone that VtotheZ released information to us with the Samsung new phone releases. Thanks!

yes, I really like that phone for the flip and the keyboard. I don't need all the fancy tech stuff.

I'm still patiently (becoming impatient) for the Samsung Cleo. Does anyone know anything new on that?

I think that's what I'll do now. Go and try them both at the store.

There's not a difference in the sunset or titanium curve, right? I see everyone recommend the sunset. Just wondering.

Phone face-off / Blackberry Curve or Blackberry 8900?
« on: March 26, 2009, 08:51:20 pm »
I've now decided against the G1. Battery life is big deal for me. I want a qwerty keyboard though. I'm getting the BB curve or the BB 8900. Is there a huge difference in the two devices? There's a $100 price difference on the line and I'd like to know what extras I get with the 8900 for the $100 more.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I've been looking at the 8900 and I think y'all are right on track. The battery life is a huge deal for me.

Is there a real big difference in the 8900 and the curve? My husband has the curve and loves it and the curve has a really great price right now.

G1 Discussion / G1 all it's cracked up to be? Thinking of buying one!
« on: March 26, 2009, 02:10:25 pm »
I was wondering about the G1. I've read on this forum different complaints about battery life, calls when volume problems, phone shutting off, etc. I need a phone with a full keyboard. Didn't like the gravity because the battery only lasted a day. Does the G1 really have that many issues or would they affect me much if I mainly want the keyboard?

Are there any other phones coming out that you think I may like better than the G1 for me? The internet is just an added feature for me. Not a neccessity. I like the Samsung Cleo (love flip) style with full keyboard but don't know if T-Mo is going to get it yet.

I've been with T-Mo forever and will stay, but I really need a keyboard for messaging. And I don't like to type on the touch screens.

Any advice? Thanks.

Sorry. New at this. I'll post it in G1. Thanks.
