The problem with the keypad not working during calls happens when you do one of those teaks from the "what to do first" thread on HTCHD2Form.com I can't remember whitch one, but I had the same problem and found the fix some were, but I don't remember were.
*UPDATE*I think it must be something you installed I had the problem when making a call i couldnt use the touch screen at all until i hung up. I decided to hard reset the phone and saw that the problem went away so i installed one app at time and check if everything was fine. dont install junk if you dont use it.
1. My phone froze during a phone call, had to pull the battery out. (Previous problem with my very first HD2)
2. When I attempted to change the volume via the volume rocker, my phone became unresponsive-it did not freeze completely but everything became extremely slow. I had to soft reset 3 times in order for the software to actually work and allow me to use the volume rocker. (Previous problem with both HD2's running the original ROM and now the updated ROM). I now wondering if it has to do with one of my cab files...
*I'm texting everyone that I know to determine if the text/freeze issue has been resolved. Some are reporting it has not been resolved...
lmao at T Mizzle-I absolutely feel you with the dentist comment...
Fortunately, my biggest issue was reinstalling my contacts via SENSE and linking them with Facebook. That and having to put all of my favorite blog sites back as favorites in Opera, passwords, etc. I only had a few cabs to reinstall, not too bad for me-about an hour total.
So far, I have not noticed any real difference with the radio or battery life. I'm a heavy user and have 2 batteries so...
One thing I have noticed, there is a decrease in the sensitivity with the touch screen. I feel that I do have to press and hold a tad longer to register a touch. I notice when typing, kinetic scrolling (especially), etc.
Some are already reporting a fix in freezing, texting, etc. Obviously, the more users that upgrade and use this new ROM, the better it will be for us to assess...
*much thanks to TmoNews for getting this out to the community!
