General Android Questions / Apps are no longer on the market...
« on: December 05, 2010, 05:28:24 pm »
So, my vibrant was acting up. So i called Tech support and after about 40 mins of troubleshooting, I was told to master reset. It fixed my issues, but when i went to install my apps ( RyanZA OCLF and Multi wallpaper) and they were not there... I really want to find an alternative for both. I've been looking around but no luck. Can someone help me??? Thanks in advance...

HD2 / Re: 3G/Data services not working on my HD2 HELP!!!
« on: May 17, 2010, 08:05:38 pm »
I have had the problem since May 1. No 3G or edge icons, no internet, no updates, but I can get on the net with WiFi.  I called T Mobile and was told that the update was suppsed to fix it. So I'm waiting until the 19th to see how things go. Crossing my fingers.

HD2 / WM noob needs advice...
« on: May 17, 2010, 08:00:09 pm »
OK, I have an HD2, obviously. Having A LOT of lag. SO... I wanted to "flash" a ROM. How is that done? Also, how easy is that? Are there "preffered" ROMs out there, more stable? Thanks for the input.

PS. Has anyone tried downloading movies from Iphone 4 idiots? My aunt has an Iphone and says it's great.

It's the same here. BUT... I wanted to save my upgrade for an "upgraded" G1. So I'll save keep my upgrade until there's a phone I can't live without. How easy is it to root a G1?

G1 Discussion / Is G1 worth...

So, I lost my G1 about 2 months ago. I got a 2g iphone for $140. Is a G1 worth $200??? Assuming that i will Root it. Is that a good price? I am also "saving" my upgrade for a "better" android phone. I don't really like the My touch (personal reasons) or Cliq (feels weird in my hand). Behold 2 JUST came out, so no opinion on it, but reviews are not good. Thanks for the help.

Phone face-off / Re: Is Cliq...
« on: November 11, 2009, 05:55:06 pm »
I know, but what I'm asking (from a person who, preferably, has "played" with a G1 AND Cliq) is. Is the Cliq a faster, sleeker, improved version of the G1? How's the Bat life? Does the smaller screen make THAT much of a difference? Is the "feel" better in the hand? Does the touchscreen work with the smaller screen? How does the music player size up?

Phone face-off / Is Cliq...

I was wondering if the Cliq was JUST a networking phone. Don't get me wrong, I have a page on the sites... BUT... I visit them 1 every month or so. I was looking for a faster"better" G1. Am i barking up the wrong tree? Thanks for the help.

« on: December 09, 2008, 01:20:15 pm »
Ok, I know it depends on the app, BUT... what an average of the amount of apps i can have before I have to start clearing some out to make room for more? Basically, what's the limit on how many the phone can hold??? Thanks.

G1 Discussion / OK, G1 or G2? How long?
« on: December 09, 2008, 01:06:27 pm »
So I'm about to get my G1, BUT I'm reading about this "G2". When is this sucker coming out? Am I "wasting" $$$ if there is gonna be a newer version in months. I'm just confused why a producer would release the next Gen of something so soon after it's first product. They are not capitalizing on the earning potential. And how many times does that happen. Thanks for the help.

G1 Discussion / Help this noob. Please.
« on: November 30, 2008, 07:30:22 pm »
Ok ladies and gents. I'm on the bandwagon, I want a G1. I have a Dash now. The Behold was on the top of my list until i read some distressing posts. I want FULL 3G capability. And a 5MP camera and 1 GB card is not enough to sway me. So here are a few of my concerns.

First, what do i need to know to get all i can out of my G1? Do I have to log on to the android site and study up like it's finals?

Second, what can i expect coming from an EDGE device?

Third, Is there a sheild for the touch screen that will still allow me to use the screen?

Fourth, Is the battery REALLY that bad? I charge my phone everyday, and turn it off and on in the morning. Will I HAVE to do this with the G1?

That's all i can think of right now, but, oohhhh. What would be a good option if i didn't get the G1?

Thanks
