Karma, and others re "why don't you just call T-Mobile hello.." 4+ years as a T-Mobile customer has taught me that calling the company isn't always - or or very often, for that matter - the best way to get a straight answer. A lot depends on who you speak to, and it must be kept in mind that the operators are human, and the company does NOT back up whatever they've said, if it's outmoded, or a mistake, or you happen to get a supervisor who just disagrees. And even supervisors sometimes disagree.
